From the Back Cover

In this book, first written in Hebrew and then translated to Greek, Latin, and finally English, an unknown writer provides for his readers an apocryphal history of the Bible.
Although originally attributed to the first-century Jewish philosopher Philo, historians agree that The Biblical Antiquities of Philo were probably written by another author after the destruction of Jerusalem in AD 70.
It is considered a valuable record of the state of Jewish belief at the time of its writing.
Written as a compliment to the Biblical stories already in existence, "Philo" offers some instruction to believers, but mostly chronicles stories of interest concerning the first humans.
Those with an interest in the roots of Western religion will find this an invaluable resource.
